With so much to choose from; from Cobblestones, Forts and cafes….to graffiti, shopping and late-night bites…..national parks and beaches, Puerto Rico is sure to give you everything you want in a long weekend.
Things To See
Old San Juan –Roam down the cobbled streets and enjoy the architecture. Stop by shops, museums, plenty of restaurants, and bars.
Fortaleza Street (a.k.a. Umbrella Street)– leads to La Fortaleza, the official residence of the Governor of Puerto Rico. This fortress is considered a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is must-see when in San Juan. While the Umbrella Street in San Juan has gained recent popularity on social media, there is more to this street than the Umbrellas. Fortaleza Street is one of the most high trafficked streets in San Juan. There are plenty of restaurants and shops to visit after checking out the umbrellas.
Calle del Cristo–Visiting this area was an artist’s heaven! Lots to see on this street- old churches, university, hotel and restaurants- well kept with a positive vibe.
